Awaken (Mehmas X Circulation) had just run twice as a 2YO, being 2^nd in her first outing on the 14^th of May and followed that up with a close 2^nd in the Albany Stakes GR3 at Ascot on June 20^th.  Having been given a seven week break she returned to the racecourse at Leicester on July 30^th, going to post at the prohibitive odds of 1/12.  She made all the running throughout this 6f contest and came home clear under a hands and heels ride.  Awaken is an exciting filly as some of the horses behind her in the Albany have since won GR3 races.  Her next race is likely to be the Moyglare on Irish Champions weekend.

Awaken is the fourth foal out of the Oasis Dream mare Circulation.  She is from the family of the four time GR1 winner Twice Over.

Her sister by Blackbeard will be sold in Book 2 in October.  Circulation has a Pinatubo colt foal and is in foal to St. Mark’s Basilica.
