Lan Cinnte (Saxon Warrior X Yellow Hammer) was lightly raced as a 2YO and was just beaten at Navan in October over five furlongs which was way too short.  After a 228 day break she reappeared in Naas on May 21^st finishing 2^nd to a much more experienced filly.  On June 14^th she went to post at Limerick in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden as a money on favourite and did not disappoint her followers.  Her jockey was content to sit in 4^th position for most of the race and asking her for her effort at the 1f mark.  She quickly put the race to bed coming home an easy 1½ length winner.  She will next run at the Curragh on Derby weekend in a valuable 3YO fillies handicap.

Lan Cinnte is the second foal out of the mare Yellow Hammer who has now produced two runners, being two winners.  A Kodiac 2YO filly is in training and a Lope de Vega yearling colt will sell in October at Tattersalls Book 1.
