Lan Cinnte (Saxon Warrior X Yellow Hammer) was lightly raced as a 2YO and was just beaten at Navan in October over five furlongs which was way too short. After a 228 day break she reappeared in Naas on May 21st finishing 2nd to a much more experienced filly. On June 14th she went to post at Limerick in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden as a money on favourite and did not disappoint her followers. Her jockey was content to sit in 4th position for most of the race and asking her for her effort at the 1f mark. She quickly put the race to bed coming home an easy 1½ length winner. She will next run at the Curragh on Derby weekend in a valuable 3YO fillies handicap.
Lan Cinnte is the second foal out of the mare Yellow Hammer who has now produced two runners, being two winners. A Kodiac 2YO filly is in training and a Lope de Vega yearling colt will sell in October at Tattersalls Book 1.
