Imperialism (Churchill x Shannow) had a run at Kempton on September 30th, catching the eye in a 5th placed finish. He went to Newmarket on Thursday to compete in a valuable £10,000 Novice Stakes Class 4. In a large field he toyed with the opposition and won going away with his ears pricked. Being by Churchill he loved this 1 Mile trip and should be a serious middle distance horse next year. His half brother by Gleneagles won first time out on his only start at Navan before being sold to Australia.
The dam Shanonw was rested in 2024, has a filly foal by Gleneagles on the ground and is back in foal to Gleneagles.
